About Me

My name is Brittany Reid, and I am an arts researcher, instructor, and advocate.

My research and teaching covers a broad range of topics in a variety of fields. My work primarily explores three areas: Literary Studies (especially Romanticism and the Shelleys), Theatrical Research (Performance as Research; Biographical Theatre; Nineteenth-Century Theatre), and Sport Studies (Sport Literature and Sport as Performance). This website is my opportunity to share my research and offer insight into my past and current projects. From my doctoral research project to upcoming publications, from my teaching philosophy to a sport research podcast, this is the place for me to document my projects, share my findings with others, and forge new connections.

Thank you for coming, and I am so happy to have you here!
